NS400 street pads give outstanding initial stopping power that is of prime importance on the street. Made from Asbestos-free brake compounds, NS street pads chamfered design provides excellent low dust and squeal properties.

Recommend for daily driven cars not for race use.

Both the Type NS and NS400 use the same friction compound material.

HC800 is a premium Performance Street, Race and Rally brake pad. HC800 has more bite than both NS and B-Force, and has excellent fade resistance. Capable of operating at temperatures up to 800°c, this pad will handle almost all serious braking conditions.

HC800 is a genuine ‘cross over’ pad suitable for both road and race. HC800 is extremely capable in competition environments so use this pad if you are involved in serious track day, rally etc.

Developed based on race feedback, CLUB RACER RC09 brake pads are an export-only model designed for circuit driving.

Racing-N1

Designed for precise control up to but not as far as tire locking, RACING-N1 brake pads are best suited for low-to-middle-speed racing in light vehicles.

Racing 999

Developed in response to testing in GT races, RACING999 brake pads offer absolute braking capacity and fade-resistance.

Developed through practical testing in GT races, this brake pad is ideal for everything from time attack races to sprints. Racing 999 pads trade off some life compared to the 777 in exchange for stronger stopping power. These pads are for race use ONLY.

Racing 777

Boasting full braking effect and sturdy wear-resistance, RACING777 brake pads are ideal for everything from sprints to semi-endurance races.

Triple seven of carbon type racing pad (Old HC N1-Racing allotropy material). As for abrasion resistance truly above approximately 5 times that sport pad. It is the high performance brake pad which can be used from sprint to durable race. With super N1 durable race it was developed “Racing 777 (triple seven)” the control efficiency where the carbon type pad is superior and the racing pad which makes fuse with the practice test the stopping power by the powerful carbon membrane. Fade Resistance

When brake pads operate at high temperatures, high pressure gases can be created in the pad and can cause a ‘gas layer’ between the pad and rotor. This can make the driver feel like the brakes have lost performance as the brake pedal feels the same, but the car won’t slow down as normal. This phenomenon is known as ‘fade’. A slot is manufactured in all Project-Mu pads to offer the gases an escape route.
※ Rotor slots also assist to provide the same solution.

Noise Suppression

Brake pads manufactured without a chamfer on the leading edge of the friction material, are more likely to produce unpleasant noise. This noise known as brake squeal is actually a high frequency vibration created by the friction between pad and rotor. The vibration can manifest in caliper, rotor or suspension vibration. This ‘problem’ is reduced or eliminated by the chamfer on the pad material.
※ Brake squeal is more likely to occur in some models, and not others. It can also depend on the condition of the car.

Heat Treatment

Project-Mu brake pads are subjected to heat treatment as part of the manufacturing process. This process ‘burns out’ unwanted materials in advance, reducing the gases that can cause fade. As a result, Project-Mu brake pads only need light ‘bedding in’ to match the pad to your rotor surface.

Brake Pad Structural Stability

Brake pads are subjected to huge pressure from caliper pistons in unequal proportions across the pad. Brake pads must remain flat to offer optimal performance so Project-Mu use only the highest grade quality steel at the correct thickness to ensure this stability. Project-Mu pads are up to 20% stronger than some competitors.
